The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) or NEET (UG), formerly the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), is an all India pre-medical entrance test for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS) and AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.) courses in government and private institutions in India and also, for those intending to pursue primary medical qualification abroad.
NEET Syllabus and Exam Pattern: An Overview
Overviewing the NEET syllabus and it’s competitive level, NEET exam can be one of the rigrous entrance exams. Before you start NEET preparations, aspirants must understand each topic and chapter of syllabus has to offer. The detailed NEET Syllabus’ prime intent is to help and assist NEET aspirants to cover the topics to be covered during the preparation of the exam.
Aspirants who are currently studying in Class 11 or 12, has to keep the focus on the pattern of the exams, independently.
NEET Syllabus & Exam Pattern NEET Exam is mainly based on three topics — Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology). There will be total of 180 MCQs, having 3-hours time duration. Four marks have been given to the applicants for every correct answer, and one mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.
